Engaging in strategic thinking and putting the market context, resources, structure, processes, products and services, stakeholders, clients, and your human capital in strategic perspective allows for advantages and value adding opportunities that go far beyond traditional planning approaches. With a proven track record of success in helping people and organizations achieve excellence, Dr. Maurice H. Rahimi has more than 25 years of experience in consulting, practicing, and teaching in the fields of organizational development and management, as well as strategic planning and optimization. He has extensive experience on issues that are the foundations of the analysis, problems and solution options identification, and value adding implementation with respect to the people, structure, and processes of organizations.

His practice has focused on organizational development (leadership development, team building, executive coaching, and performance management), strategic thinking (measurement, planning, and optimization), career management, general HR functions and policy formulation and evaluation.

His clients have included some of the leading organizations in the United States including Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, San Diego County Regional Airport Authority; DMJM Aviation, AECOM; Jacob, Carter, & Burgess; Los Angeles County Association of Governments and San Diego Regional Government Efficiency Commission among others. Internationally, he has provided consulting services to CEO Club China on US organizational performance optimizing practices and has lectured at Beijing, Zhejiang, Shenyang, and Shenzhen Universities in China, among other engagements.

Dr. Rahimi has an MA in Economics, an MPA, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration with a focus on organization development from the University of Southern California where he currently teaches as an adjunct Associate Professor at the Price School of Public Policy. Dr. Rahimi has previously taught at numerous institutions of higher education including University of Georgia, University of Colorado, and University of California at San Diego, where he also served as Director of the Global Leadership Institute.
