An overview of our training programs
1 - Introduction to Six Sigma
- Two (2) hours duration, for small groups of 2 to 20 of your people
- Suitable for your Management Team, a group in a Department or Division, or a couple of individuals
- Useful if trying to decide if Six Sigma is relevant to your organization
- Provides an overview, DMAIC method, and some examples of Six Sigma applications
- We offer one workshop free of charge with no obligation (though you may use Synergy further)
2 - Introductory Workshop
- Half day duration, for groups of 4 to 20
- Suitable for your management team or potential project teams
- Includes a 30-minute overview of Synergy’s Six Sigma method (DMAIC)
- Includes a 2-hour facilitated exercise (in groups of 3 to 6)
- Each group applies our simplified Six Sigma method to a real problem in your organisation
- By actually applying the Six Sigma method, your team gains understanding and tastes the benefits
- Although
teams must assume facts and cannot validate data, in many cases quick
wins are identified from this ½ day learning process
- Fee = $1,800 plus expenses, includes workshop design and conduct, and a report of team findings
3 - Six Sigma Explained – Yellow Belt Training
- 2 days training on your site, for groups of 4 to 20
- Day 1 - theory plus formation of project teams of 3 to 6 persons and allocation of projects
- Day 2 - each team applies Six Sigma to their problem (as in 2. above but in more depth)
- Training manuals are provided and active participants receive Six Sigma Yellow Belt certificates
- Fee = $5,400 total
4 - Learn-by-doing Project Teams – Green Belt Training
- 8 x ½ day learning sessions in project teams of 3 to 6 people per team (up to 12 people total)
- A real improvement project / operational problem in your organisation is given to each project team
- Fortnightly sessions over 3 months - learning, practicing, discussing progress of each project team
- Learning sessions are followed on same day by 1 hour coaching with each project team
- At least monthly we will meet your nominated contact person to review progress
- At the final session, the team recommends solutions / improvements to your Management Team
- “Learn-by-doing” teams typically recommend savings equivalent to 3 to 50 times the Synergy fee
- Training manuals are provided and active participants receive Six Sigma Green Belt certificates
- Fees
are tailored to each client, but as a guide = $8,000 plus $1,200 per
person (e.g. for 3 persons = $11,600, for 12 = $22,400), plus expenses
5 - Q-Skills Training
- Self-paced training in the Six Sigma tools, using innovative, fun to use and interactive software
- Useful for green belt to learn how to use the key Six Sigma tools
- Participants' progress through the on-line course can be monitored by a coordinator
- Synergy can arrange a free trial of one licence for a month
6 - Black Belt Training
- For individual Green Belts wishing to move to Black Belt level
- Training is conducted on-line through Seek Learning’s web based program, over 3 to 4 months
- Synergy provides one-on-one coaching as you apply Six Sigma to a project in your organization
- A supervised final assessment is conducted
- Certificates are issued through the American Society for Quality (ASQ)
- Total fee = $8,950, including Seek Learning on-line course and the coaching by Synergy
