In 2007, Synergy provided management development education and coaching with emphasis on six sigma process improvement. We used our "learn by doing" method with learning from formal sessions applied to real improvement projects, selected by the Executive Team. Small teams of Managers put learning into practice to make real $ benefits.
Then in 2008 Synergy was involved in a major Business Transformation program, leading key project streams to cut millions from their bottom line.anagers and employees.
Sydney Water
Over 3 years, Synergy conducted a number of reviews and risk assessments for trade waste and plumbing inspections and other processes. Together with Divisional General Managers, we presented recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
In 2007, Synergy was invited to facilitate the implementation of major process changes for sewer services. This involved most of the operating, support and commercial divsions of Sydney Water, over a 6 months period.
RailCorp
Synergy has assisted several senior General Managers in RailCorp over more than 7 years to analyse and improve their business operations. Specific assignments have included rail operational processes, business continuity and risk assessments.
Idemitsu Australia Resources
Muswellbrook Coal - since 2005 we have worked closely with the management team of this coal mine to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering all business activities. This is an Integrated Mining Management System (IMS) incorporating mining and business operations, health, safety, environment, change management, etc and communicated via an Intranet, which Synergy also maintains.
in 2008 Idemitsu appointed Synergy to develop an IMS for their recently opened Boggabri Coal mine, and to develop an OH&S system for one of their mining contractor operators, Lovton Coal.
AWB
In 2005 and 2006 Synergy has facilitated six sigma education and training to Green Belt and Black Belt levels for the business improvement team and a selection of managers within the operations division of AWB. A number of significant improvements have been implemented.
